THE BAKER
Behind every delicious treat, is a wonderful memory! Smitten Mitten Bakery was born from a desire to bring others joy, create unique treats, and a personal love of kitty cats (especially black breeds!).

Stephanie has been baking at her mothers' side from the time she was a child. Inheriting her skillset, frosting style, and buttercream recipe, Stephanie took what she learned and ran with it! She combined a love for her kitty cats with creating custom desserts, in order to continue traveling and meeting new friends!

Can I custom order a cake?
Yes... Smitten Mitten offers several custom cake/cupcake options. Use the order form to design your perfect sweet treat with us!

Do you only deliver in Lansing?
No... Smitten Mitten delivers treats to all over the state (even to other states!). Deliveries beyond 20 miles will add travel fees.
​
Can I provide my own florals for my cake?
Yes... We can provide a blank pallet for a florist to come in and finish, or we can also decorate ahead of time with silk flowers if provided at minimum one week prior to product delivery.

Can you work with edible images?
Yes... We work with another local supplier for our edible images.
​
Do you work with fondant?
No...ish! I don't cover cakes with fondant, however I can do minimal decorative fondant work, such as flowers and other basic decorations.

Can I order multiple flavors of cupcakes or cookies?
Yes... I offer multiple flavor choices, though the ordering requirement is at minimum a dozen of each flavor.
Do you have gluten-free options?
Yes... Smitten Mitten Menu features gluten-free items.
